CRASA 14TH ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING :: 29 March 2011

The supreme decision making body of CRASA, the Annual General Meeting, will be meeting for the fourteenth time at Birchwood Hotel - Boksburg in Johannesburg, South Africa from the 29 to 30 March 2011. The 14^th AGM will be hosted by the Independent Communications Authority of South Africa (ICASA). The 14^th AGM will meet for the following purposes:

To share experiences on the progress made on ICT regulatory reforms in SADC;
To receive an update on progress in implementation of CRASA Action Plan for year 2010/11;
To receive, approve and adopt audited CRASA financial statements for year ended 31st March 2010;
To receive the report of the CRASA/SAPRA Merger Committee;
To consider the merger of CRASA and the Southern Africa Postal Regulators' Association as per the Resolution 4.3.2.3 of 25 June 2009 of the SADC Ministers responsible for Telecommunications, Postal and ICTs; and
To transact such other business as may be transacted at an Annual General Meeting.

This is a historic AGM as it will see to the birth of a converged regulatory association for Southern Africa. This meeting is to be attended by all CRASA Members, Associate Members and invited Partners only. For participants to this meeting you can register online here.
