CRASA GOVERNANCE STRUCTURE ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING The Annual General Meeting (AGM) is the supreme decision-making body for the Communications Regulators Association of Southern Africa (CRASA). The AGM meets once a year in order to receive reports of the Specialist Committees, reports from the Secretariat, to approve the annual report and audited accounts as well as the annual budget for the Association. The meeting is also a platform where members share new developments in their respective countries through presentations and reports. For these reports, please see Publications. THE EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE The Executive Committee is elected annually and has a supervisory role over the implementation of decisions of the Association in between the Annual General Meetings. The Executive Committee comprises of four members. The Chairperson, the First Vice Chairperson, the Second Vice Chairperson and the Treasurer.
The Specialised Committees and Task Teams support the Annual General Meeting and Executive Committee. The main role of the committees is to produce guidelines and policies on various regulatory functions to be applied by communications regulators in SADC region. While Task Teams are established when need arises in order to undertake special assignments as authorised by the AGM.
