The Communications Regulators’ Association of Southern Africa (CRASA) is convening the second meeting of the Consumer Committee (CC) from 2nd to 3rdFebruary 2023. The meeting will be hosted virtually by CRASA from 09h00 to17h00 Central African Time (CAT).
The CC meeting shall finalise the implementation of the Committee’s Annual Operational Plan 2022/23 by considering the development of the Study on the Impact of Consumer Switching in Fixed and Mobile Telephony and BroadbandMarkets as well as the development of the Recommendations on the Role of ICT Regulators in Digital Identity Management
The meeting shall also consolidate inputs from Committee Members towards the development of the CRASA Strategic Plan 2023-2028; and further establish projects for the Annual Operational Plan 2023/24.
The Consumer Committee is currently chaired by Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) with Tanzania as the as the Vice-Chairperson.
