[9th October 2022] The Communications Regulators’ Association of Southern Africa (CRASA), celebrated World Post Day which falls on the October 2022. World Post Day celebrates the anniversary of the establishment of the Universal Postal Union (UPU) back in 9th October 1874. This year’s theme of ‘Post for Planet’ is a call upon all critical stakeholders in the postal industry, to consider setting policies and rules (in case of the policymakers and regulators); and delivery of postal services and products (in case of postal operators) that would greatly contribute towards the global agenda to reduce the negative impacts of climate change.

CRASA was part of the celebrations in Selebi Phikwe, Botswana where it was part of the facilitation team at the World Post Day Workshop.
