The Communications Regulators’ Association of Southern Africa (CRASA) will be convening the second meeting of the Postal Committee (PC) for the fiscal year 2023/24 from 29th to 31st January 2024. The meeting will be preceded by a capacity-building workshop on Postal Quality of Service Monitoring, facilitated by the Universal Postal Union (UPU) Global Monitoring System (GMS) Team. Both the meeting and workshop will be hosted by the Zambia Information and Communications Technology Authority (ZICTA) in Lusaka,Zambia from 09:00hrs Central Africa Time (CAT).
The meeting is expected to gather experts in Postal Sector Regulation from CRASA’s 14 Member Organisations to deliberate on issues related to the ongoing goal of: ‘Harmonisation of the Regional Regulatory Environment’. This is in line with Association’s mandate of contributing towards the Regional Integration Agenda of the Southern AfricanDevelopment Community (SADC).
