CALL FOR APPLICATIONS FOR CULLEN TELECOMS REGULATORY MASTERCLASS SCHOLARSHIPS

The Communications Regulators’Association of Southern Africa (CRASA) renews its compliments to all Members of the Association.

CRASA is pleased to informMembers that, through the strategic partnership between CRASA and CullenInternational under the CRASA–Cullen Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), the scholarship window for the CRASA–Cullen Telecoms Regulation Masterclass is now open. This initiative reflects CRASA’s strategic direction of strengthening regional regulatory approaches through partnerships and international benchmarking.

Accordingly, the CRASASecretariat invites applications from eligible staff of CRASA Members for theCRASA–Cullen Telecoms Regulation Masterclass Scholarships under theCRASA–Cullen cooperation framework.

Under this partnership, CullenInternational offers scholarships for professional development training in telecommunications regulation to officials from CRASA Members.

Course Details

·      Course: Telecoms Regulation Masterclass

·      Start Date: 17th March 2026

·      Application Deadline: 1stMarch 2026

·      Scholarship Award Notification: 10th March 2026

Eligibility and Selection Criteria

Applicants must:

1.    Be staff members of a CRASA Member organisation in good standing;

2.    Work within the telecommunications/ICT regulatory domain;

3.    Hold at least a bachelor’s degree and possess relevant professional experience; and

4.    Be fluent in English.

(Full eligibility and selection criteria are determined by Cullen International, in consultation with the CRASASecretariat, in accordance with the MoU.)

Coordination and Communication

The CRASA Secretariat will coordinate with Cullen International on the final selection and will formally notify successful candidates in due course.

Members are encouraged to ensure broad internal dissemination of this opportunity, including due consideration of gender balance.

It is further recommended that staff awarded scholarships be allocated sufficient time to fully participate in the programme in order to maximise the benefits of this professional development opportunity.
