SADC RADIO FREQUENCY SPECTRUM ALLOCATION PLAN 2020

The Ministers responsible for the Information and Communications Technologies in the Southern African Development Community (SADC) has endorsed the Edition 2020 of the SADC Radio Frequency Spectrum Allocation Plan (RFSAP) on 9th July2021. The revised RFSAP is designed to provide guidance on management and allocation of the frequency spectrum in SADC. The FAP includes recommendations to the National Regulatory Authorities on how they can harmonise the allocation of frequency spectrum in the Region and allow achievement of system interoperability; effective cross border coordination; achievement of economies of scale; increased proliferation of technologies and devices as well as affords roaming to the Region. As an end result, allowing regional integration and creation of a common market in SADC. The RFSAP can be downloaded here.
